Account deletion — Shelity

This page explains how to delete your Shelity account and what happens to your data. Deletion can be canceled within 7 days.

How to delete your account in the app

  1. Open Shelity and go to Settings → Account.
  2. Choose Delete account.
  3. Read the warning about the consequences and confirm the deletion.
  4. For 7 days you can cancel the deletion: just sign in and choose Cancel deletion on the “Account” screen, which shows how much time is left and until what date you can cancel.
  5. After 7 days we permanently delete all data linked to your account.

Logging out deletes neither the account nor the data: they stay in place.

If you cannot access the app

If you uninstalled the app, lost your device or cannot sign in, write to us and we will delete the account.

  1. Send an email to privacy@shelity.com with the subject “Shelity account deletion”.
  2. Write from the address you used to register (or state it in the email). If you signed in with Google or Apple, give the email of that account.
  3. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours so nobody else can delete your data.
  4. We will reply within 30 days and delete the account under the same rules as in the app.

What will be deleted

7 days after confirmation we delete:

Records in other people’s spaces. Records you added to other people’s spaces remain in those spaces.

If you own a space

Deleting your account also deletes your space: all its members lose access to it. Warn them in advance so they can save the data they need. If your plan allows export, do it before deleting.

Subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Cancel it separately in Google Play or Apple ID, otherwise you will keep being charged. Refunds are handled by Google Play and the App Store.

What may be kept longer

After these periods the data is permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
